Health and Safety
Safety is our top priority. For every project, we develop a Site Specific Safety Plan (SSSP) that is tailored to the unique conditions of the site. This plan is finalized and approved at least a week before work begins, ensuring that all safety measures are in place and strictly adhered to throughout the project. We are committed to maintaining a safe environment for everyone involved.
Clear and Transparent Communication
Effective communication is key to a successful project. Tyler, our dedicated project lead, oversees all correspondence with the client and Project Manager. We maintain formal records of all instructions, RFI’s (Requests for Information), and CAN’s (Contractor’s Advice Notices), ensuring that every decision and update is documented and shared. Regular updates, including H&S (Health & Safety) reports and staging plans, are provided to keep all stakeholders informed of the project’s progress and upcoming milestones.
Proactive Reporting
To ensure our clients are always in the loop, we issue a comprehensive Contractor’s Report each month. This report includes updates on the instruction register, risk register, health and safety status, construction programme progress, and any outstanding RFI’s. These reports are often used as the basis for site meetings, ensuring that all parties have a clear understanding of the project’s status and any potential issues.
Rigorous Quality Control
Quality is at the core of our work. Our Site Managers conduct daily inspections to ensure that all work aligns with the agreed scope, MOE guidelines, and NZ Standards. Subcontractors are required to verify their work through sign-off sheets, which are then spot-checked by our team to ensure they meet our high standards. We also inspect materials both on-site and off-site to confirm they comply with the project specifications. Our use of “Archireport” software allows us to efficiently document and track these quality control checks, ensuring that every detail is accounted for.
